Our Favorite Digital Marketing Tools

In the era of the internet, moving your marketing online is a must. If you aren’t an experienced digital marketer, it can be overwhelming at first. There are fortunately a lot of  tools out there to help you, but the amount of options can be overwhelming. To keep things simple, we’ve put together a list of our favorite tools to aid your digital marketing journey.

Social Media Channel Manager

Social media management platforms allow you to manage all of your social media channels in one place. Depending on the needs of your company, there are several different options that offer different levels of service at varying price points.

In addition to the convenience of accessing all of your accounts in one place, the major benefit of these tools is the scheduling features. You can plan out all of your organization’s social media posts for the week at once and can be sure they’ll be posted consistently throughout the week. No longer do you have to worry about taking time out of each day to manage social media or forgetting to post.

Here are two of our favorite platforms:

Buffer: This is primarily a social media scheduler. For $10/month, you can manage up to ten social media channels and access analytics on your posts. In Buffer, you can copy posts to different social media channels and see how well your content is doing after you publish it using the analytics tab. For a small or medium business, this tool will make scheduling social media a breeze!

HeyOrca: This platform has many more features than Buffer, though it comes with a higher price tag. It costs $100 per organization, which includes all social media channels. Although it was designed with agencies in mind, it could easily be used by an in-house marketing team to manage their social media channels. Some of the best HeyOrca features are the media library you are provided to store graphics and images, the multiple approval settings you can customize to best fit your team’s needs, and the easy-to-use drag and drop calendar view.

Email Campaign Automation

MailChimp: If you’re looking to stay in contact with your customers via email, a tool like MailChimp is great. It’s an online email marketing service that can help you manage contacts, send emails, and track the results of your email campaigns. MailChimp also provides design tools to help you create attractive and engaging emails, making it easier than ever to send emails your customers will actually want to open.

Instagram Scheduling

Grum: Instagram can be a company’s biggest asset, especially if you’re in a visually appealing industry. While it is technically possible to manage Instagram through the social media management platforms above, you will still need to use your phone to manually post the photo, which takes away from the convenience of scheduling your posts. Grum is your solution to that! With Grum, you can upload photos from your computer and they’ll be published on Instagram on the day and time that you choose.

Online marketing may seem like an overwhelming task, but it doesn't have to be! By taking advantage of these simple tools, you can improve your company’s online presence and grow your brand.
